"IN–BETWEEN" – Xuying Wang

ul. Jatki 3–6, Wrocław – 14.04.2018 - 15.05.2018

The art of Wang Xuying documents the metamorphosis the young artist experienced in moving to Poland. Immersion in European culture transformed her personality, and consequently the style of her work. In her works, however, the artist is willing to use solutions typical of the graphic art of the Far East and motifs known from Japanese popular culture.Xuying Wang’s ceramics combine different aesthetic influences of worship but also functionalism with the decorative arts.
